Nasdaq-listed oilfield providers main Baker Hughes has been awarded two contracts by Norwegian operator Vår Energi, increasing its North Sea footprint in exploration logging, properly intervention know-how and subsea manufacturing techniques.

The primary contract is a nine-year engagement for properly intervention and exploration logging options to help Vår Energi in additional growing prospects within the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
